Fees and Pricing Structures

Fees

At Central Chiropractic & Wellness we believe in the value of chiropractic care for you and your family toward the goal of achieving relief and wellness. Therefore, we have created a pricing structure that is flexible enough to help you and your family get the chiropractic care you need. We also accept auto accident (ICBC) and worker's compensation cases (WorkSafe B.C.). To learn more about our fee schedule, you can call our Abbotsford chiropractic office directly at 604-853-3378 and one of our friendly staff will be happy to answer all your questions. Listed below are the most common daily fees.

Private (Most patients)
Initial Examination and Reassessments - $75.00 (19 and under and students $60.00)

Subsequent Visits - $50.00 (19 and under $35.00 - Students $40.00)

Extended Visits - $75.00

Laser Therapy - $50.00 per region

MSP (Premium Assistance)
1st visit $40.00 surcharge
Subsequent Visits - $25.00 surcharge (19 and under NO surcharge fees except first visit)

Insurance

The B.C. Medical Insurance plan is accepted at our office but covers only those who qualify for the Premium Assistance program including Status First Nations people for up to a 10 visit per year subsidy. There is a small surcharge applied to each of these 10 visits.

For most patients, extended health insurance plans reimburse payments made for chiropractic care. Claim forms differ with each plan and are usually available at the insurance plan's website. Together with our office receipts these simple forms provide adequate documentation to facilitate convenient reimbursement. Some plans are now providing their clients very fast online reimbursement options. We will be pleased to offer any assistance if your plan needs additional information or if you need help. Once patients have done their first claim form, it is an easy process!

For ICBC or other auto accident claims, coverage options vary and should be discussed on a case by case basis. ICBC offers a Lump Sum payment option which is favourable for some patients. Worker's compensation (WorkSafe BC) cases are all administered in a Lump Sum payment system so there are no cash fees payable by the patient during the course of care. Insurance coverage by the DVA (Veterans) and the RCMP is accepted at the office. Before you start a chiropractic care plan, you should fully understand all fees and coverage questions. Our staff would be happy to discuss these matters with you in advance.

No Insurance

Many patients have no insurance coverage. Our goal at Central Chiropractic is to do what we can to maximize the possibility that everyone experience the benefits of chiropractic care. To that end we are happy to discuss your treatment plan and payment realities and do what we can to be of assistance on a case by case basis. Notwithstanding the fact that our finances can feel a little stretched at times, chiropractic care is actually extremely cost-effective and affordable and is often cheaper and more effective than alternative pain treatments such as pain medications or invasive surgery.

Family Plans

Please note our reduced fees for those nineteen years of age and younger as well as full time students. It is our goal to address the chiropractic needs of children, teens and young adults as spinal care should begin at the youngest age possible.
